Hey June!

Welcome to the end of spring and the beginning of summer!

SLOW OPENING

Make time this month to play and enjoy the slow unfolding of summer.

Tis the season to tend to wellness.

Be like the flowers and take in an abundance of sunshine.

DID YOU KNOW?

June is named after Juno, the Roman goddess of marriage and children.

According to mythology, she was Jupiter’s wife and was an important guardian of the people (especially women) whose protection was often sought.

This may be why June is the most popular month for marriages.

Maybe love is in the air for you this month?

Make it so!

6 Easy Ways to Boost your Wellness in June

  1. Catch some morning sun with no sunglasses. Unfiltered morning light is a powerful way to boost energy, enhance mood, and improve sleep.

  2. Put bare feet on the ground. Read this article for reasons why.

  3. Enjoy fresh fruits and veggies from your own garden or from a local farmer’s. Eating local is good for you and your community.

  4. Take a sweet siesta on a sweltering afternoon. A midday nap can bring sweet relief and rejuvenation from a hot day. 10-20 minutes is a good start.

  5. Sweat it out. A good old fashioned summer sweat is a great way to naturally detoxify the body.

  6. Stay social. The warmth of summer and longer days are conducive to connecting with friends and enjoying more connections.

“Having this clearing and discussing it with you afterwards helped me have a better understanding of why certain thought patterns and emotional behaviors were recurring that were an impediment to my ability to live a fuller , more joyful life.  I was even able to have a positive breakthrough in a relationship issue that was weighing heavy on me for years.” - J.C.
