Q + A
I was recently interviewed about my business as a Wellness Consultant and was asked to provide written answers to a few questions.
If you are curious to learn more about Weaving Alchemy and the services I offer, read on!
What do you do?
I am a Holistic Wellness Consultant. I offer private sessions, group workshops and self-reflection tools.
I help clients dive deep to explore patterns, cycles, habits, and mindset so they reach their goals.
People thrive when they feel truly heard and have a dedicated and intentional time to focus on themselves.
Most use it for:
self-reflection + deep introspection,
developing a vision + setting goals,
exploring + problem-solving,
brainstorming + planning,
creating action steps + accountability markers,
or simply connecting.
How long have you been in business?
5 years. I started Weaving Alchemy in 2017.
What inspired you to pursue your profession?
I was inspired by personal experience.
After college, I worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative in Neuroscience divisions for nearly 10 years.
My daily routine involved Mental Health Centers and Psychiatry practices discussing schizophrenia, bi-polar disease, depression, and ADHD, and later in Neurology clinics discussing degenerative brain diseases, like MS and Parkinson's Disease.
I saw how focused our healthcare system is on sickness and medications, and I became motivated to explore how I could preserve my mental and physical health for the long haul.
Despite what we think we can control, life sometimes has other plans.
Accidents still happen.
Eight years ago, I sustained a cervical spinal cord injury.
I had an incredibly successful surgery, but as a mom of two young boys, it felt like a major setback - emotionally and physically.
I began to research natural forms of healing for my recovery and prevention.
Among other modalities, I found essential oils. I began regularly using them and was blown away at the profound effects.
I’m fairly sure peppermint was my “gateway oil.”
I was hooked. I dove into years of studying plant medicines and holistic health, and became certified as a Clinical Aromatherapist.

After Weaving Alchemy began, I completed a beautiful year-long experience with the Institute of Functional Medicine's Functional Medicine Coaching Academy and became a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach in 2020.
I also became certified in Holistic Nutrition, and completed Trauma Sensitivity Training.
Thanks to technology, I have clients in several countries, and all across the states.
I believe that the physical body is deeply intertwined with the emotional body, and bringing both into balance is the key to true wellness.
I love weaving wellness into my client experiences. I bring all that I've learned to each session.
No two sessions or workshops are the same, and that's what I love most.
What would you like people to know about you?
I'm a total junkie for learning.
I have spent thousands of study hours in a variety of topics including life and lunar cycles, ancient and plant-based medicines, psychology, the nervous system, emotions, energetics, and other unique approaches to healing.
I have always been curious and had a knack for researching, investigating, and making connections. It’s fulfilling helping other growth-minded people explore authentic alignment.
It's so satisfying that I can't quite call it "work."
Do have any current offerings?
I do! I love creating self-exploration tools to help clients get to know themselves better.
I currently have a self-paced workbook available called, "The Painful Price of People-Pleasing."
Two additional workbooks will be available soon - one on anger, and another on relationships.
These workbooks and the ability to schedule a personal session are available on my website, www.weavingalchemy.com.
Thank you so much!
