THE TEST
Forty-seven fruits and vegetables were tested to see if they met the criteria for being a “powerhouse fruit and vegetable.” Forty-one met the criteria of being nutrient-rich. Read the full study, titled “Defining Powerhouse Fruits and Vegetables: A Nutrient Density Approach.”

PLANTED IN WELLNESS
If you’d like to discuss how small changes in eating can create big shifts for you, request a Holistic “PLANTED IN WELLNESS” Session.
If you are what you eat, why not be a vitality powerhouse?
If you’ve been needing a body, mood, or mind make-over, don’t undervalue the impact that plants can have in creating vibrance and endurance.
This session offers a one-on-one exploration of how eating more intentionally can be life-improving. Think of it like a Soulful Nutrition session where you customize your nutrition to help you get the most from your food and energy.
This session is NOT about being vegan or vegetarian, but rather how to increase nutrients based on your current eating habits.
EAT WELL, FEEL WELL
As a Holistic Nutritionist, I regularly see how simple shifts in nutrition can impact mood, thought patterns, and daily energy levels.
Simply put, nutrient-rich food helps you feel better.
I’m excited to look for these foods at my local farmer’s markets this weekend. My favorite local-to-Greenville, SC markets are @gvillesaturdaymarket and @trfarmersmarket. They never disappoint!
